THE MUMUS
Yogi (Mumu)
Male
Born Mar 23, 2004
8 years old
11.8kg
Colour: Salt & Pepper
2 Noticeable less hair. Grey and white in colour.
The oldest and assumes the role of the alpha male of the other 3 mumus, especially Dharma because he’s the youngest. He’s independent and yet very attached to Rinpoche.
He’s the most cooperative dog if you have gained his trust. His
trust is earned when you are consistent with your instructions and you are firm
when you say "no". The same goes for the other dogs as well.
Note:
Yogi is afraid of thunder and lightning. Hence, when there is such weather condition, please keep Yogi next to you. If he's shaking, please hold him and gently stroke him to calm him down.
Yogi will also get scared by sounds of farting (including his own!), so it is important to assure him that everything's ok.
Oser
Female
Born Feb 28, 2010
2 years old
9.0kg
Colour: White
2 Thick white and wavy hair
On her own, she is very playful and endearing. She is very obedient. However, she doesn’t warm easily to people and may not let a new person pick her up.
Dharma
Male
Born Jan 22, 2011
1 year old
11.8kg
Colour: Black & Silver
He’s the youngest of the 4 dogs and is
therefore the most friendly towards people. However, being the youngest also means that he gets controlled by Yogi.
On his own, he is gentle and has good temperament. However, he will be more aggressive and 'follow the crowd' when in the pack. He will bark and sometimes fight when the other mumus do so. He is potentially aggressive.
Zamkar
Male
Born Mar 24, 2005
7 years old
10.2kg
Colour: White
He’s Liaison Paul Yap’s dog and he is brought to the Haven (day care, hehe!) so he’s never left alone at home. Zamkar has had a long history of neglect because Paul and David are not at home most of the day.
He loves to eat and may sometimes steal the
food off the plates of other dogs.
He gets bored or 'moody' easily and will start licking his paw
so it will be good to distract him by playing with him or calling his name when
he does that. Zamkar also has a tendency to wander around on
his own. In the Haven, he is very attached to KB and Ram.
Note:
Zamkar lives with Paul and David. David or Paul usually takes him
back home in a duffle bag at night (every other 3 - 4 times a week). The bag is zipped leaving a gap for him to breathe.
When David comes to pick Zamkar up, it gets the other dogs jealous. They will start growling amongst each other. It is possible that Zamkar or one of the other dogs will start to attack by biting each other. Never allow this to happen so separate the dogs before anyone picks Zamkar up.
